Manuel Kaulich
Go BackManuel is a functional and computational biologist at the Goethe University Frankfurt in Germany. Born and raised in Berlin, Manuel moved to different parts of Germany, Switzerland, and the US for his education before starting his independent research group in Frankfurt. He is an expert in gene editing technologies and CRISPR-based perturbation screens. His research focuses on combinatorial gene effects in cell cycle control and developing technological and computational methods accompanying these investigations. His gene editing inventions led him to co-found the biotech company Vivlion which provides CRISPR reagents and services to the global R&D market.
